I wanted to take a brief moment to email all of you regarding our new study beginning on 9/11. Just last night I met with Jeff, Ben, Alvin and Jerry and we had a great time of fellowship together as we planned for our new merged study. I am excited to see how the Lord is drawing us together to launch this new study. I know that many of you receiving this email will be moving on to new ministries and I praise God for each of you and trust that you will have opportunities to serve and grow as God leads you. Transitions are an amazing opportunity for the Lord to work in our lives.
As we move closer to our kick-off, I wanted to update you on a couple of items. First, your current foremen will be working over the next couple of weeks to solidify what leaders will be making the transition into the new study. On August 30th, we will have a leader meeting of those individuals to set the course and direction for our study beginning on 9/11.
Second, the Foremen, who will be called “under shepherds” in the new study (Ben, Jeff, Jerry and Alvin), and myself desire to give the new study a new name! So, we want to glean ideas from all of you. If you have any ideas for the name please email them to me bsmall@gracechurch.org and I will collect them. Once we collect ideas, the under shepherds and myself will select a name and let all of you know.

Brent & Kim's MOVE: They Need Our Help!!!

Friday, August 21st 4-6 people to help me load the truck with our items from our storage unit and also a few items from our apartment.
3-4 people to help box things for moving, cleaning, etc.
The goal this day would be to move a bulk of items down to the house unload in the afternoon and allow people to go Bible Study that night.
Saturday, August 22nd; 4-6 people to help load truck with remaining items beginning at 8am.
4-6 Additional people or new people if others need to leave (if possible) to meet us at the house around 11am to help unload, organize etc.
Also if someone could pickup lunch (we would pay) including drinks, etc. to have at the house in the valley that would be great. Maybe like a tray from Subway, etc.
Our Foundry Labor Day Retreat is SEPTEMBER 4-7th. Please see Ben or Jeff if you still want to sign up.
